I was amazed how much safer the jack posts became once the concrete basement floor was poured. While we had nailed the bottom plates of the jack posts to the concrete footings they still didn't give that great Rock of Gibraltar feeling.With at least 4 inches of concrete poured around them, they sure feel solid NOW!
